Why DIYTaxFlix exists

After years of helping South Africans abroad at SAUK Tax, we kept seeing the same story play out. Capable, intelligent people were paying high fees, or putting things off entirely, not because the law or process is impossible, but because nobody had explained it properly.

Many of them had straightforward affairs. They didn’t need someone to do it all for them. They needed someone to explain it properly, in the right order.

So we built DIYTaxFlix: a tax emigration course, designed by a practising accountant, that replaces uncertainty with understanding.

What we’re working towards

Our aim is simple: to make SARS compliance affordable for every South African who has emigrated.

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant in both South Africa and the UK who has advised on South African tax for over 40 years. He founded SAUK Tax to help South Africans in the UK with cross-border tax. He makes sure every lesson reflects how SARS processes work in real practice.
